If you are passionate and interested in something then a degree is for gathering knowledge about it and adding value in that field which in return gives you materialistic possessions otherwise it is a waste of your time, money, and energy. Rather than invest in a skill, internship, and apprenticeship, this would be more practical. Most students attend University with no idea of what they want to do in the future or what a sustainable life looks like.
If you want to become a medical doctor or lawyer?
Cool, go to University.
If you want to make money and become rich? There is a better option. SKILLS!
A degree for a job is proof that the person is disciplined enough to follow the system's order and depending on your university's brand name and grades, you will be paid the bare minimum to keep you happy as a slave. True education is that gives you freedom in every aspect.
To have self-imposed orders or rules is a courageous and strong-willed work as it is a reflection of conscious acts and not compulsive acts that we do out of slavery. University is designed to make you a slave.
There’s no incentive for a government to teach you the realities of wealth creation.
They need workers, not 30-year-old retired millionaires. If you aspire for the latter, the university will not get you there, it will only slow you down.
The true cost of university is not the money, it’s the TIME.
Thousands of hours of processing and downloading useless information into your brain. Imagine if you had used that same time and effort in real education.
Those 22-year-old millionaires you see online, sure, some are fake, but some are very real. And they didn’t get there through university, it’s not because they were born rich. Sure, some are but moreover It is because they spent their time learning about the realities of wealth creation, while you learned a subject from a broke college professor.
Anyone of you reading this if you are in university, and you aspire for more than being a comfortable slave.
You are WASTING the most valuable resource you have in the world, TIME.
If you’re doing it to make your parents happy, fine, family is important. But get a real education as well.
